5.What are the benefits of authenticating a professional account? Can you operate without it?

Authenticating a professional account is like obtaining a ticket for commercial activities, such as accepting brand collaboration ads, opening a Xiaohongshu store, or promoting posts. Without authentication, many functions will be limited. It’s recommended for businesses to open a professional account.

6.What are the requirements for opening a Xiaohongshu store?

After authenticating as a professional account, you can open a Xiaohongshu store. However, there are category requirements; some categories, such as skincare and medical fields, require industry qualifications.

7. How are Xiaohongshu account followers categorized?

Generally, accounts with less than 5,000 followers are considered personal accounts. Accounts with up to 10,000 followers are beginner influencers (KOCs), 10,000 to 50,000 followers are mid-level KOLs, and over 50,000 followers are top KOLs.

8. Should new creators open a personal or business account?

Xiaohongshu Post Material Specifications

Text and Image Notes

1. Text should be within 1000 words, ideally around 600 words.
2. Image dimensions should be between 1:1 to 3:4, with a width of around 1280px; formats: JPG, PNG.
3. Each note can include up to 18 images; the first image should be appealing. Avoid white borders and watermarks from other platforms.
4. Note text: Avoid using only pinyin or mixed pinyin and characters; avoid typos and sensitive advertising words.

Video Notes

1. Video length should be within 5 minutes; formats: MP4, MOV (videos over one minute can only be uploaded, not recorded directly).
2. Video dimensions should be 9:16, 3:4, or 1:1, with a resolution around 720p; the video should be clear.
3. Video frame rate should be 25-30 frames, with H264 encoding.
4. Note text: Avoid using only pinyin or mixed pinyin and characters; avoid typos and sensitive advertising words.
